The Kandangi Weave -
Over three weeks, this project used in-depth secondary research to uncover an old, forgotten traditional weave. By studying its structure, drape, and techniques, and expanding into the challenges faced by weavers and its current market relevance, the research framed the craft as a system shaped by people, practices, and constraints rather than just a material outcome.


Mindful Scoops - Service Redesign
This thesis explores how mental health support for women in urban slum communities in Bangalore can be improved through service delivery redesign. From a research perspective, the project investigates systemic barriers such as stigma, cost, literacy, and cultural mismatch through secondary research and field engagement conducted with NIMHANS and FEDINA. The findings inform Mindful Scoops, a community-led service model that demonstrates how research can translate into accessible, preventive mental health outreach without introducing new clinical interventions.


Koshy's Business Strategy Analysis
This research examined how legacy local businesses can use strategic tools to extend their relevance beyond a familiar audience. Koshy’s, a culturally significant restaurant in Bangalore, served as a case study for exploring the relationship between heritage and brand growth. Insights gathered through field research and patron interactions informed an analysis of its existing brand equity. The project then tested strategic communication tools—both visual and digital—to understand how visibility and reach could be expanded without compromising the restaurant’s core identity.


StoryScape Games - Service Design
This project examines childhood physical inactivity as a systemic contributor to long-term cardiovascular risk, reframing it as a behavioral challenge rather than a motivation gap.

Design Sprint - Reimaining Household Dustbins
Urban households lack an effective and user-friendly system for managing wet waste at home. Current dustbins often leak, emit strong odours, and attract flies, forcing users to dispose of wet waste prematurely and rely heavily on plastic bags. These inefficiencies at the household level contribute to larger community-level waste management issues.
